This gorgeous and unique mélange technology of red staining and engraving crystal glass has originated in the workshop of Bedrich (Fridrich) Egermann (1777-1864), who spent long 16 years of his life developing this superb, but complex process. His doubtless achievement has forever chiseled his name into the annals of crystal glass manufacturing. The thin, dark red pigment layer meticulously deposited onto the engraved, crystal clear glass and carrying the name of its creator is also chemically very stable and certainly harmless to our health while its arabesques, rococo shell patterns, exciting hunting and tranquil castle scenes irresistibly attract our eyes with their timeless beauty.
